What happened to the shining city on the hill? Well, Â to those who truly seek THE answer to that question and are able to put aside their pride to handle the Truth, I would invite you to watch Rabbi Jonathan Cahn's speech at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast....

Cahn said, â€œI spoke of Americaâ€™s moral apostasy, and Obama spoke, for the first time in any inauguration, of advancing gay rights and of the Stonewall Uprising as a great American event we should honor. â€œBoth tracks are continuing Americaâ€™s spiritual departure from God, and the warnings of judgment being given.â€

Cahn said after his message- Â â€œEven now the word is spreading. Just as an inauguration is, by definition, a beginning, I believe, somehow, that the giving of that speech in that place on that day was the beginning of something. Even now the word is spreading. I pray itâ€™s the beginning of awakeningâ€

And people dont care either... as long as it suits what they want, its fine to cheat your neighbor or lie to a friend, or to have sex with many different people and spread the diseases around... to abort innocent babies, but have a cow about someone being put to death sitting in death row...
No, I am not a Saint, I have done my fair share of sin, but I do have sense enough to know right from wrong, people can change for the better... I just think without God in people's lives, I dont see us going anywhere but sinking into the abyss...

Exactly, TA! Scripture says that ALL of us are sinners and in need of the Savior... As far as an example of the difference between a saved sinner and an unsaved one. You can't stop a bird from flying over you and dumping a pile in your hair, BUT you sure can stop that bird from building a nest in it! ;-)

And to explain that for anyone who may not have understood it, it simply means that a saved Christian can and will fall into temptation and sin just like an unsaved person however, they won't enjoy it, are spiritually convicted of it and will repent and get away from it usually in a hurry..... They won't make it a way of life.......

I hate to bring in the gun issue here, Sandy, because I know that isn't at all your intention, but if you wouldn't mind just this one comment, I think it's something to think about in the context of the moral decay or "moral descent" that he speaks of. It's a different country of people with those guns in their possession. The questions raised because of what he says about the economic collapse are too frightening not to hope people might want to think more about who has these weapons and who doesn't.

Don't mind at all, Sue........ Our big family will be among those who do have them....... Personally, I have considered it from all sides. Happily, for me it didn't require a lot of contemplating or thinking to come to the common sense conclusion that for me and mine, I want to be among those who are able to defend myself against those who choose to attack for whatever reason and never shouldn't have had any weapons in the first place. But as always has been and most likely always will be the case, until the Lord Himself puts a stop to it, those folks will find a way to do so.... So to my way of thinking, I've only evened up the odds a wee bit...

If we're still here, the looters and criminals can most likely be stopped at my front door, however I don't foolishly suppose armed government thugs (simply following orders, Ms Lee) and coming after folks they consider to be domestic terrorists, could be stopped and I suspect that's where all this is leading, my friend...........

I listened to the entire video. I'll bet this speech ruffled quite a few feathers. I'm amazed he was allowed to give it. I just posted it on my Facebook page where it will probably ruffle a few more if anyone bothers to listen to it. I've believed all this since 9/11/01, and even wrote a blog on my web site right after that saying some of these things. People don't want the truth. I'm wondering what the President thought when he heard this. He should have been trembling in his shoes. Interestingly enough, though, judgment comes first to the household of God. So get ready. We must be in prayer for our nation and its leaders and repent ourselves.

I too posted the video on facebook, it's ruffling a few feathers of people who seem to think he's crazy and Obam's a good guy that's everybody's giving a hard time to because he's not white. I don't like Obama and didn't vote for him either election. I suspect he's got his own agenda and it's not a good one.
