Kate Middleton is pregnant and although the Royal heir hasn't even been born yet, it seems that the hoopla surrounding the pregnancy is getting just a little ridiculous.
According to a new report Kate and Wills may have already bought out a domain and created a Twitter handle for their bundle of joy—who is due to be born in July.
Forbes says that if Kate and Prince William know the sex of their baby then they've already gone and bought a domain with its name and made up a Twitter handle. Seriously?
Yes, seriously. Here's what Forbes had to say:
"The choices Kate makes to brand her son or daughter will be even more telling. Long before he or she has a chance to forge an identity, the child will be under even more scrutiny as the first digitally connected, post-millennial royal. There's no word yet about possible baby names, but I bet that if Kate and William have chosen one, they've also registered the URL and opened the Twitter account."
Wow. For some reason, Kate Middleton and Prince William don't seem like the type to buy domains for their future children, but it wouldn't be surprising if their handlers bought one. After all, the royal heir has to be protected on all fronts so it would be better off for someone within the royal family to buy a domain than to have a random person buy it and try to pass it off as real.
Do you think Kate's baby will be more scrutinized than any baby in the world?
