As a child I always enjoyed my daddy’s stories about people he did business with.  One man is particular was good, or bad as the case might be at using the wrong words when he was talking.   Daddy came home for lunch one day and was telling us about  an incident at the café that morning when the locals were gathered for coffee break.

 Kaiyi (Don’t ask me how he got that name), the town’s most often quoted malaprop, was complaining about the restaurants coffee.  He said, ”If they would clean that there urinal more often the coffee would be fit to drink.”  That got a laugh from everyone there.

Then the conversation turned to  equal rights and whether women should be allowed to do jobs usually done be men.  Of course Kaiyi knew all about  the rights all people have as written in the Constipation of the United States.

Yes, by the time Daddy had repeated the story to us we were all laughing hard.  Kaiyi didn’t seem to mind being laughed at.  He laughed right along with the rest.
