The Fifty Shades of Grey movie continues to attract attention. And it's not just the attention of stars like Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling, Mila Kunis, and Emma Watson who've evinced interest in playing the coveted leading roles of dominant billionaire Christian Grey and his naive submissive girlfriend, Anastasia Steele. Other celebs are incorporating BDSM imagery into other art forms like music videos which clearly seem to reference E.L. James' runaway best seller. Made In Chelsea stars Spencer Matthews and Binky Felstead are prime examples. The two have appeared in a kinky 50 Shades of Grey type music video for Stacey Jackson's new track Pointing Fingers.
As you can see on the video clip below, Spencer and Binky seem to really get into their work—even when they're just sitting around the set playing with the SMBD props—like the black leather riding crop. Furthermore, the video seems to have been filmed in a place that looks a lot like Mr. Grey's infamous red room. And Spencer's character comes off looking an awful lot like Mr. Grey.
"He's quite dark and very possessive in it," mused Spencer about his character in the video. "He's dominating and doesn't understand when he doesn't get what he wants. It's a fine example of how a boss has control over someone who's essentially a free spirit."
So does this mean Matthews and Felstead are throwing their crops—er—hats into the Fifty Shades of Grey movie contenders' ring? Anything is possible. But is the world really ready for a 50 Shades movie with Christian and Ana played by people named Spencer and Binky? Seriously.
What do you think?
