O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory
(Psalm 63:1-2).
I would like to lift up all those battling cancer. Especially my husband Sean, Nancy, and Pam's daughter's friend Brianna. She is 15 with her second bought of cancer, they just got the news that the cancer is still there, she is starting chemo again. Each are at various stages in their battles. Be with them as they fight this and those around them as well to give them all strength.
I will return to the Lord;
For You have torn me, but You will heal me;
You have stricken, but You will bind me up.
After two days You will revive me;
On the third day You will raise me up,
That I may live in Your sight.
(based on Hosea 6:1-2)
I lift up Cathie's prayers and I would also like to lift up Barbara and Christina. You know their needs better than we can. I lift them up to You to be cared for in your loving embrace. Give them the strength needed to face anything and everything that they need to over come.
Please be with those that are healing from surgeries. That can be a long road at times. Give them the strength they need for any physical therapy or the patience for bed rest.
I would like to lift up Jean as she is healing from surgery. Help her to heal quickly Lord as the Great Physician that you are.
I also lift up Christopher and Angela who are each facing medical issues of their own.
And I lift up Betty's Daughter Sarah once more. Lord, send them comfort for the outcome, whatever that may be. If it is time for you to take her home with you help the family heal from the loss.
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
(Psalm 103:21-22).
