Good afternoon, Gather! (or: I'm baaaack...again!)

The other day a tech guy came out and got us back on the internet. Basically our router was on its last legs.

Sure enough, the next morning (yesterday), it died. So, Mom and I went back to Staples and told them what was wrong, while returning something else.

With the refund we got from whatever we returned, we got $40 off a new router--a slightly better one than the one we had. The appointment was for today at 1pm.

So, the young man (aren't these tech guys always young?) came and plugged this in then that, and then BOOM! We were on the internet again. :) So, once again I am here to haunt Gather and other places I tend to haunt online. :)

The past couple of days I've been doing a bit of gardening, cleaning, and writing, as well as working on getting the information together that I need for this application. I am getting it ready to send in the mail next time Mom and I are going to the post office.

It's great you're connected again. I think we never realize how big a role the Internet plays in our lives until it doesn't work. It's like being marooned.
