Here is a pegging list, I just made up and started working with. I intend to share it with my students this semester.

A pegging list is a list that you have already memorized. There is an order to the pegging list that makes memorization easy. In this case the families are arranged chronologically and also by type. The television families are listed first and then two political families. There is also an order to the names – Dad, mom, oldest child and so forth. In some cases, I added a friend, Eddie Haskell, fred and Ethel, and in another case I added brothers, Bobby and Ted Kennedy.
