Changes are coming to Seattle Grace, and it's now only a question of how big they will be. In Grey's Anatomy season 9 episode 13, "Bad Blood," Constance Zimmer will still be around as the physician adviser, but as photos (like the one below) show, she's not just observing.
The last episode, "Walking on a Dream," ended with Cahill announcing a surprising cut: closing down the ER. And now in "Bad Blood," Derek and April will be trying to find a solution for the hospital. The doctors were divided about closing the ER; Derek argued against it, while Bailey defended Cahill, pointing out that some of them needed their jobs since they hadn't just won millions. Meanwhile, Cristina's patient is dying, but she has to respect his family's wishes, and Arizona is going to empathize with a teenager who's facing similar problems.
The Grey's Anatomy season 9 episode 13 promo shows that there could be something wrong with Meredith's baby. They wouldn't have her lose the baby or almost lose the baby, would they? The rest of the preview is about Cristina's patient. His family chooses to rely on miracle through prayer rather than blood, but will Cristina respect what they want? She says they have to, but Leah asks, "Even though he could die?" There is a clip in the video of someone closing the curtain to the hospital room; are they trying to hide what they're doing?
