A Fans Commentary on Current Problem with Lakers!
The Purple and Gold look more like Mauve and Pale Yellow?
It's time to turn the team over to Jeanne Buss. Jim "Baby" Buss has done his best to do to the Lakers, what Frank McCourt did to the Dodgers, and he needs to go. So does Mitch "cry in his" Kupchak need to go.
Jim "Baby" Buss and Mitch 'upchak have let key role players defect to the Clippers, and now those former Lakers are coming off the bench and making the Clippers the new LA team to watch!
With Jeanne Buss leading the organization and Phil coaching and handling the general manager duties, things will turn around quickly.
And once Phil does his Zen thing on players like Dwight, Meeks, Duhon, Ebanks, Jamison, Clark and Sacre; they will be playing like Kobe [who once underwent the Zen like treatment].
If changes are not made from the top on down, and made real soon, we will be looking at a record much like the Clippers of past seasons.
As far as Jim "Baby" Buss saying that Phil's teams lacked excitement, all I can say is a boring "W" is still a "W!" So, let's return the man who knows how to get the most out of his players, and what good defense is. The clock is ticking, and we are slowly watching this year become a huge disappointment, all because Baby Buss wanted to get back at Phil and his sister [by jumping the gun and hiring D'Antoni] when he made that power play statement by not hiring Phil when he had the chance. We all know that not hiring Phil was PERSONAL, and not because Phil asked for two days to give his decision.
Jim "Baby" Buss is immature; and he knows absolutely nothing when it comes to running a professional sports team. His inexperience and immaturity were never more evident when he fired Mike Brown; shunned Phil Jackson; and hired D'Antoni on a whim. The time for Daddy Buss to intervene in this ongoing family squabble between Jim and Jeanne is NOW. If he doesn't make some front office changes, this season will be the worst in years.
One suggestion for Daddy Buss is to sell the Lakers to Magic Johnson and his friends and partners at the Guggenheim Partners, LLC. These guys mean business; are ALL business; and they have no problem reaching into their deep pockets when it comes to getting who they think can win it all, now! l'd love to see the Buss family sell the team to Guggenheim because I think this group of owners now how to build something special. Something that will last a long time, like the old Jerry Buss Lakers once did!
