Hiding Behind The NRA

Why would the leadership of the NRA allow its organizations politics to be used as a distraction while a group of malcontent reactionaries within the organization continue to gather up as much firepower as the Feds? Why would anyone want to match the firepower of an adversary? Unless of course they want to confront them -

It sounds like an armed, violent revolution is in preparation. That "Take back America" slogan also sounds like an attempt to overthrow by violence our government. I am confident that none of the Gather right wing folks would do such a thing but the appearance of things....

Nor I... some of them... a small number, but still a significant one, have shown that they have left rationality far behind. And I would suspect that they will not telegraph their intended blows. Paranoia begets paranoia: E pluribus paranoia.
Treason in the service of your own idiosyncratic definition of liberty is no vice. :)
