Good morning, Gather!

 

I was feeling a little under the weather, last night. It may have been the beginning of a cold or the flu because I had a sore throat, fever, and I was feeling dizzy. This is a bad time to be sick, not that there is ever a good time, but, this weekend I have a friend coming to visit me from the land of the Bluebell cows. If you are unfamiliar with the name, it's the name of a very popular ice cream around these parts of Texas. I was feeling so sick, that I went to sleep early, which is very unlike me to be in bed by 11 pm.  It would be a shame if I had to cancel our visit. We'll see how I'm feeling, tomorrow. Still, I wouldn't want to give her the flu, if in fact that is what I'm coming down with.

 

I'm hoping to hear from Rebecca, today. She should be getting out of the hospital. If she does, I'll be posting about it, later. Still feeling woozy, so, I think I'll go back to bed.

I hope you are much better soon. The flu is awful this year.. there is a new medicine out the dr can prescribe called Tamiflu that knocks it out quicker.

Thank you all. I'm feeling better after I took some Nyquil for colds and flu, last night. George bought me some chicken soup, too. I'm feeling better. May be back tonight.

I think it's safe to say that I'm feeling better, but, not yet at 100%. I'll try to post about Rebecca, tomorrow. I miss you and love you, too, Mary.

Turned out to be a touch of the flu.
