Ok I involve myself in debates just for the fun of it sometimes. THis one however turned from a debate into a question of my maturity. This is just my random curiosity to see if other think I was the immature one here. Below is the conversation minus names, even though I'm sure I will hear from them once this is posted.

But no one says it. No words he can say, nothing that will be written in the books will make the shooting stop. It's the adult that teaches their kids or the parent actually taking an interest in their child's life.

Hev you can be the best parent in the world and teach your children well, and they could still end up using a gun for a violent act! I know one family that has five grown kids and one of them ended up being a irresponsible person, in trouble a lot. The others very successful, help their community, being good Samaritans! You cannot just say if people raise their kids right that no more killing sprees with guns will happen. And it is true shootings will continue to happen but hopefully with gun control it will stop mass shootings and cut down on the gun violence!

You really seem to have a good head on your shoulders and try to be fair considering everyone's opinions. And thank you also for being honest. Me: I really try to be but I still say the kids were a publicity stunt and nothing more. They didn't need to see him say what he said because then they'll have to be explained to why it may or may not actually happen. They are losing their clout and have to act like Limp noodle and Beck to get attention. Of all their money spent during the 2012 election cycle, they were LESS THAN 1% effective. I agree whole heartedly with that. New laws will do nothing that the old laws wouldn't but we just stopped enforcing them.
...PLus the usual reason the emergency doors are opened AT a theater, is to sneak people in without paying.
