good morning i have to get ready for work but wanted to tell you all about tyler on monda night when he was playing basketball he got head butted and had a big bump behind his ear he had a headace but they didn't take him out of the game the coach just told him to get it checked out yesterday he wkoe up with a headack i took off of work and took him to the er he had a concussion he can't play sports for about two weeks after he goes to the doctor then they will tell him if he can play he is staying home from school for a couple of days he can't drive for a couple of weeks have a good day

my grandson has had concussions, and this is always serious....make sure he rests, dollow up with the dr, etc.....

OMG!

We are sorry to hear about Tyler's injury.

I sure hope the player who did it was given more then a penalty for that type of behavior!!! If not, I would write the school board about what happened and your opinions of what should be done.

What ashame the coach told him to suck it up and continue to play, instead of pulling him out of the game until it is checked out. He could have been hurt worse by continuing to play. I suppose there were no medical units on site during events there...which isn't good.

We know it is bad for you to take a day off of work... you are always working!

Being male, and also liking to play sports...including rough sports, I know there is a delicate balance between pampering and toughing it out. And the male ego can also get into the way, not to mention you are his Mother.

tyler was here last night said he was at sheeze and when he was at the checker he couldn't focus for a minute his girl friend took him there
