Pure white heaps dot the landscape. Several Pine trees run the length of the mountain. People wearing snow gear; gloves, scarves, parkas and boots line up in perfect symmetry. Thick metal wires, running parallel to one another, hang above their heads. Chair lifts, some going north bound while others are going south.
Chatter abounds, families smiling, challenging each other to races. Some have experience while some need to learn the basics.
Poles in hand, they brace for the exhilarating sensation. Now, they strap the skis upon their feet. Here comes the next lift. Off they go into the air. Wind nips at their noses and cheeks, but they are having the time of their lives.
Snow, fun, and a tiny bit of sun makes for an excellent outing at the countryside ski resort.
