The now-familiar black triangle UFO has been spotted again, this time in a NASA photo taken while orbiting the Earth. The twist? The photo was snapped on a shuttle mission in 1986.
In a video posted on YouTube, two photos were taken by astronauts on the Columbia mission STS-61-C in January, 1986, both showing a triangular, unidentified flying object flying past the shuttle window. The channel owner claims to have discovered the images after poring over the NASA shuttle mission archive. Why it took so long to come to light is not addressed, but may be explainable by the fact that such archives are very extensive.

This UFO sighting is significant because it implies that the triangle shape, now being thought of as the most prevalent of unexplained objects hovering over multiple locations around the globe for the last few years, may have made an early appearance nearly 30 years ago.
But, so far, no such sightings have been made of triangles orbiting in space.
So, what is it?
