Montana man Dejuan Laster was kidnapped at gunpoint on the 17th of this month. Now it's being reported that the body of the missing man might have been found. Also, at least one suspect is in custody. There are certainly mixed emotions at a time like this, because the ending is one that nobody wanted -- but at the same time there will likely be justice. That is more than many families of missing people get.

The 29-year-old man was located dead on Sunday and this news source reports that it is confirmed as him. Officials have also acknowledged that this kidnapping case has now become a homicide investigation with one suspect in custody and another being sought.
Dejuan Laster appeared to have died from gunshot wounds, which fits with the early reports that he was kidnapped at gunpoint. This is a distressing case that marks another homicide in the new year of 2013. What's worse; it's another gun-related homicide in a time that gun safety and control is widely debated.
Hopefully the other suspect is captured and the wheels of justice will deliver a conviction and judgment fitting to the crime committed.
