Once Upon a Time (on TV)

I tried to watch it to see what it was all about and I couldn't understand what people were saying, it was all mumbled and garbled and whispered. I understood the commercials just fine, so I'm not going nuts, LOL.

The show also has its shots way too shaky for me. HOLD THE CAMERA STILL! Shaking the camera around does not add excitement, in my opinion. It just makes me sea sick.

I hate it when I can't understand the talking on TV! There's NO good reason for it!

Not really. Daddy taped it for me last so I could watch the game and it was perfectly fine and I have to admit that it was quite gripping

I agree, I've never seen it but now I know I haven't missed anything ... new age acting is a joke, they don't compare well with the late greats of the big screen.

Janet, its probably an age thingy, I'm 63 so most of the new age stuff is not that interesting nor do actors today compare with the actors I grew up seeing like Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Gregory Peck to name a few. Then our TV show sellections were also very different than todays, we had Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett, The Smothers Brothers or Laugh In to name a few. Oh, I know you probably think thats really old fashioned and I'd have to agree. The quality of a show is important to us old foggies, especially if it regards the visiual or audio.

It was just fine for us last night, though I do have that issue with a few shows. I think it's the local network, as I can change channels and the volume goes way up or way down depending on the station and/or if commercials are on.

I really like the show....and I can watch it with my teenager. We like Grimm too, but that is darker.
