Russell George Performs Citizens Arrest On Allegedly Drunk South African Cop
...Russell George, of Prestbury, said he saw a police vehicle driving into oncoming traffic before suddenly stopping. George pulled over and approached the officer who has since been identified as Constable Nkuleleko Mbanjwa, 28.
...Mbanjwa allegedly continued driving recklessly despite George questioning him if he was okay behind the wheel. George reported the situation to police and then saw that Mbanjwa had stopped his car again.
...Geoorge could smell the booze on him and took the keys out.
...The car had a bit of damage, from what, who knows?? (hit and run???)
...George then tool the cop out of the front seat and placed him in the back seat
...A witness said that "the cop appeared totally sloshed."
...He has appeared in court and the police have given him a notice of suspension.
...It looks like he may be walking as a civilian.
