Yesterday was my husband's company's holiday party, yes in January, although I don't know why. Anyways the party was in Chicago and the company paid for everyone to have a stay at a nice hotel in Chicago. When we went to check in my husband asked the lady for a room with a good view, and we got one. We were on the 6th floor which was the highest floors with windows all around with beautiful views of several city buildings.
The buildings were lit up so pretty at night and I wanted to take a picture of our view at night.

I made sure to hold the camera flat against the glass, I did not move the camera as I was taking the picture. I tried the Twilight setting, but my pictures just came out blurry with over exposed lighting.- So my question is how do you take pictures where there will be artificial light, through glass at night with out ruining the photos.
