Veterans' checks could be delayed and active-duty troops may not get paid if the ongoing battle between the White House and Republican-led Congress results in a government shutdown over the debt ceiling, President Obama said Monday.
Though the Department of Veterans Affairs and Pentagon were not discussed in any detail during the roughly 40-minute White House press conference, veterans and troops – along with Social Security recipients – topped the list of those Obama said will be adversely affected by a government shutdown.
"If congressional Republicans refuse to pay Americans bills on time, Social Security benefits and veterans' checks will be delayed," he said. "We might not be able to pay our troops or honor our contact for small business owners."
This should go over well with the soldiers. I hope and wish they would lay down their guns and tell this loser so called traitor and chief to ----k off , they come home and he gets impeached.
Now he will begin to attack the military's pay stripping even more people of their pays, health care is going up / has gone up, civilian life it's hitting them hard too.
Expect the economy to do a downward spiral, we keep telling you ppl this idiot for a President is not out for the best interest of " we the people" He has officaly made you all his slaves.
You will work just like they do in China and get paid pennies to do it. We cant see the full impact of it yet, but as the months roll on, oh your going to see it and feel it.
Food prices are still hauling up, we are going to run out of the 3 yr food supply that usually is put in ahead of time when stores order , once that supply runs out boom the big prices are to come.
But hey dont take our word for it. Believe us or not soon you won't have any choice once you feel it.
And guess what this isn't an alex jones article oh yaaaay, maybe you will take some worth from it even though Alex Jones has been telling the Obamanus lovers this for months. But oh well believe all those paid lying medias who work for the feds.

If you are foolish enough to believe otherwise, at least understand what the debt ceiling really is. The debt ceiling has absolutely nothing to do with paying bills. The debt ceiling is just like a credit card raising your credit limit. That doesn't effect bills you pay, it just effects how much more you can charge.
This IS the fear-mongering this idiot uses. There you have Obama in a nutshell. America DOES have enough money to pay its bills. We have enough money coming in every month to pay every essential item, including military and social security, with money left over. If anyone's pay is held it's only and solely becuase Obama is choosing to use you to have his way.

And that IS the question of the day, isn't it? Why indeed would "leaders" prefer to "not pay" the most vulnerable and deserving rather than use themselves as prime examples ... at a much higher rate of pay, I might add. One senator's pay would equate about 6-7 military personnel.
Obama is no friend. Period. He does what he does BY CHOICE. And what he CHOOSES to do is exactly the character of the man, though I use the term "man" loosely in his case.
