I can't believe that I just spent an hour watching a movie on YouTube. I was going to put some music on one laptop while I worked on my other one and for some reason, a tsunami video came up on the side. I am absolutely fascinated with tsunamis. Have you ever watched the videos from the Thailand one that happened the day after Christmas? Oh my gosh, the force of the water is so incredible, I can't believe my eyes when I watch it. This was a series of 7 - 10 minute videos. It was horrifying watching these people who were on vacation having a wonderful time one minute and then 30 seconds later their lives were destroyed as loved ones were lost. A few had happy endings but most didn't. One couple lost their 5 year old daughter, devastating. Another couple had gone scuba diving but their 2 youngest children had stayed in their bungalow. The son made it but his younger sister, who was his best friend didn't. In the following years, he ended up getting addicted to pain killers and then the mom started crying and that's all they showed so his life was obviously destroyed even though he made it.
Anyways, it's time for bed now and I really haven't done anything all night besides make dinner and watch these tsunami videos. I didn't even work on my Squidoo stuff! Yikes!!
