I did the dumbest thing this morning, I had made brownies yesterday for my youngest son's birthday instead of a cake his party will be coming up shortly but his actual birthday was yesterday.
This morning I was getting ready to take the kids to school and my daughter wanted to grab one of the brownies to take with her. I only had cut what we ate last night and the rest are still in the baking pan uncut, so she grabs a paring knife and tries to cut her self a slice. Well she is doing it one handed because she had all her school stuff in the in the other hand and it was taking her forever and we had to get to school. So I said give me the knife. I was rushing too and not really paying attention and I put the flat side down on the brownies and pushed on the blade side with my finger. Of course the knife went straight in to my finger and slit my skin. I didn't have time to worry about it as we had to get to school. It was totally stupid and totally my fault. I just had to throw a band-aid on it real quick and get everyone out the door.
I just finally had a chance to take the band-aid off to take a look at it. I probably could have used a couple of stitches, but think if I just leave a bandaid on it tightly it will heal up fine. It has been too many hours to go and get stitches anyways. It is not really hurting all that much but it could easily open up and start bleeding again.
Time to put on some Neosporin and a new band-aid. That will teach me to use knives when I am in a hurry. Better me than my daughter.

The way I see it, if I can screw up once in a very blue moon, why would I trust someone else to do it? LOL Atleast the odd time I mess up, I can figure it out, and work with it. Someone else does it, and I'll probably just throw a big heavy book at them, or something. haha
I Hope it heals Okay! Try and keep it dry, so no infection sets in!`
