Cool Site for Crowdsourcing Global Music

I like to think I have very ecletic and good taste in music. There is nothing I will say no to listening to, though there is plenty that I will shut off after I have hit play. When people ask what I like to listen to they should be prepared for a long answer because I don't just have one or two genres that I tick off.

International music is something I am very familiar with, and I think that is on account of all the places I have had the chance to visit or live in. To start with too I greq up with Latin music, which for a long time has been considered international music here in the states.

Today I doung this website that sources international music that people are listening to and loads them onto their site for you to hear. The music is refreshed every ten minutes, so there is always something new to discover.

Thank you. If you like world music, check out CKWR.com on weekends! :) One of my favourite singers of all time is Vice Vukov. He sings in Croatian. You can find a ton of his stuff on Youtube. He also has some albums available in the iTunes store.

It's my favourite station, and I know most of the folks who work there. The Greek guy is the same guy who sells baklava and other Greek food at the Guelph farmers market.

I love most genres of music. The only two that I just can not handle are Rap and Opera.

I enjoy most good music but like Nurse Nancy just said, I can't handle Rap , Opera nor hard rock. I prefer Southern Gospel, Country and blue grass.

Country and bluegrass are genres that I didn't start out life listening to but definitely love now. I had an uncle that was studying opera so I grew up on the stuff, most of my parents friends had some role in the opera house so its a genre that I love.

I like to sing along, so if its not in English I can't sing along. However, I found a Cherokee song I've gotten to really like, their language is so beautiful.
