Kyleigh had an even better idea other than the cardboard slide. She pulled the cardboard pieces together and built her own Club House in the landing between the stairways.
The Club House was very well equipped and well furnished. It had an office, a bulletin board, a soccer ball, and tons of pillows. I caught her by surprise when she was "working" inside.

To stop the intruders, she put up a door. She also decided to make a sign on the door.

On the outside, the sign said, "No Stuffed Animals. No Dog. No Cats." Therefore, the dog and cat faces were crossed out. The cat was crying because he really wanted to come inside the Club House.

She continued to make the sign on the inside. It said, "No Mom Or Dad." Then she drew herself crying, because she missed Mommy and Daddy. (LOL, then why this rule?)

That night, she slept in her Club House. This full view showed more detail of the renovations she added on later, including the chimney on the right, and the "K" sign on top of the chimney.

And no, we haven't taken down the Christmas tree yet.
