Good Saturday Morning, Gather ! 1-12-13

Hello, out there !

Starting off this morning with 3,971 points. Thank you very much for your comments and views. Yesterday I started out with 3,954 points and ended with 3,964, making 10 for the day. I made 7 "ovenight" by what I'm starting with this morning. ;P

Today actually is Saturday, which I thought it was yesterday morning when I woke up. ;p

I was going to take a shower this evening, but Mom said that she wanted to, so I took one this morning instead.

Yesterday seemed pretty busy, but a lot of the busyness was on Gather. :)

Today I want to take pictures of the things I pulled out of one of my desk drawers yesterday, 1) so I can make a post on here and 2) so that I can put some of them up on ebay this afternoon. I may not be on Gather as much today, because I need to prepare a lot of the descriptions for ebay.

Bear will get his two walks in today.

Bible study this afternoon.

If Mom needs me to do anything today, I'll do that.

I'm going to spend quite a bit of time getting the tax papers together, alphabetizing them, and typing up a final "draft" of all the numerical info we will need to have for our tax lady...that's #1 priority! Then, I plan to stay off the computer quite a bit and get some major cleaning/decluttering done around here! I just bought the DVD, "Frankenweenie," so might watch it sometime today. Our temps dropped from 55 way,way down to about 23 so we'll be staying home today, I do believe!

I haven't made enough money this year to file for taxes. I was starting to get some papers ready the other day and my mother reminded me of that...;P

It was a bit frosty when Bear and I went for our walk this morning. ;)

We SHOULD get out and walk Puddles, but she wants to "drag" us along, and NOT just walking......LOL!!!!! I guess that would be good exercise for me, but I just haven't gotten out and doing it......our City has put in several dog parks, but they are expensive, plus Puddles is terrified of other dogs, so that wouldn't work for us.....LOL!!!!!
I opened our front door this morning and boy, that cold air really hit me in the face....I closed the door pretty quickly! One good thing, yesterday, the 55 degree temps got rid of about 95% of all the snow!!!!!!!

Bear is just the opposite when it comes to other dogs--he has to bark his big fuzzy head off at them and make sure they know he's the "alpha male" of the block. ;P

Puddles is an extremely "shy" big girl.......she's even scared of the really small dogs.....LOL!!!!! However, she has kinda made friends with a neighborhood dog, Blue.....Blue's a Welsch Corgi, very short in stature, and I think Puddles thinks she can "whip" Blue!!!!! Blue more or less ignores Puddles, but sometimes will come right up to the fence, so they can "sniff" each other!
Puddles weighs about 65 lbs., and she's the size of a Standard Poodle.....quite tall......and thinks she's a "lap" dog!!!!! She's always laying on hubby when he's sitting in the recliner!!!
Hubby bought a nice, good sized snow blower last summer at a church rummage sale....for just $50......hasn't even used it yet, as the guy next door got to our walk before hubby!

Bear would love to be a lap dog--but at 109 pounds, I don't think so. ;) He's also a "dragger" though he has gotten better at listening when I say no. If a large truck or other vehicle gos by though, 9 times out of 10 he has to lunge and bark at it. I don't know what that's about, except maybe he thinks he's protecting me...;P
