he weekend will be busy, as Mike informed me that he's got to work this weekend too. That means I'll be taking Angela to Walmart early....then she'll walk over to dance in a couple hours. I really, really hate to do it, but Angela has to be at dance....and I can't get her there. It's terrible that Pher can't drive right now.
I've noticed there isn't much being celebrated today...that's good news for me.
1). National Pharmacist Day: This holiday honors pharmacists, and recognizes their important role in medical care. A Pharmacist must be knowledgeable of the chemistry of all medicines. They can inform you of a drugs' side effects, and all aspects of prescription medicine. I love our Target Pharmacists...they know me very well too.
2). Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day: Oh, I'll take some of that!!! I guess this means we feast our eyes on some fabulous wild men today....and I have no problem with that. Or maybe wild men are to feast, eat, drink and be merry....
3). National Curried Chicken Day: Curried chicken is a popular dish in Asia, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. The word “curry” is an anglicized version of the Tamil word “kari,” which means “stir-fried.” While we usually associate curried chicken with a hot Indian dish served over rice, there are many other recipes that call for both key ingredients. In England, curried chicken salad is called Coronation Chicken. Constance Spry and Rosemary Hume created the dish for Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation banquet in 1953. It has been a popular sandwich filling ever since.
Maybe I'll figure out how to make some curried chicken today.....or maybe not. Have a great Saturday. I am working all weekend.
