TGIF. The weekend here is just as busy as the weeks now, as I go back to work on Saturday morning. Since we need the money, it's a good thing. The only problem is Angela needs to be at dance Saturday morning too. If Mike has to work and can't take Angela, she's going to be sitting at Walmart for a while. I don't know what else to do....
So....what are we celebrating....
1). Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend Day: It's been raining here, so I could very well do this. I doubt any of my friends would like it though. I know a lot of kids that may enjoy it.
2). Cigarettes are Hazardous to Your Health Day: Gee, no kidding. This should be a day to quit smoking if you smoke.
3). Learn Your Name in Morse Code Day: There is a controversy among some Morse Code operators on who actually created the code: Samuel Morse or Alfred Vail. This date was chosen because on January 11, 1838 both Morse and Vail did the first public demonstration of the electric telegraph together.

4). Milk Day: Celebrate the day milk was delivered in bottles for the first time --January 11, 1878. Drink a glass today...Milk...does the body good.
5). National Hot Toddy Day: When else can you indulge in a steaming mug of whiskey, spices, honey and lemon? Well, any day really, but this holiday is just another excuse. Hot toddy is a name given to a mixed drink that is served hot, believed to have originated in the 18th century to make the taste of scotch more palatable to women.
6). National Human Trafficking Awareness Day: Across the country, anti-trafficking organizations are hosting activities, from film screenings to training on community response efforts. Check your local community to see if they are doing something special for this holiday.
If you find anything else, just post it below....and have a great Friday.
