PET PRODUCT RECALL

I received this in my email today.

Pet Supplies Plus was informed yesterday that:



  • Del Monte is voluntarily recalling all Milo's Kitchen Chicken Jerky and Chicken Grillers.
  • Nestle is voluntarily withdrawing all Canyon Creek Ranch Chicken Jerky Treats.
  • Cadet is voluntarily recalling all Cadet Chicken Jerky Treats
This recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure as the product may contain trace amounts of antibiotic residue. The manufacturers have assured us that these residual antibiotics are not a danger to pets or people, but they are not within the acceptable quality standards. We have removed the affected products from our shelves.

This was in my newspaper today. The treats were made in China. I'm thinking it's past time for all of us to refuse to buy anything we, our families, or our pets will ingest which is made in China. Way too many tainted products come out of that country.
