Stranger abduction alert: Kimberly Delgado, age 18-months, was allegedly kidnapped by 27-year-old Daniel Ozuna, who is currently being sought. This was an extremely tense situation that had authorities believing the kidnapped tot was in immediate and imminent danger. It was also believed that the child was under direct threat of bodily harm or death. Fortunately, the child was located safe in the stolen car about a mile away from the scene of the crime.

Sources report that the tot was left by her mother in a running car, but the mother was just a few feet from it entering an apartment complex when the suspect emerged and immediately took off in the car with the child inside of it. A stranger abduction is perhaps a parent's worst nightmare, but when a stranger abduction occurs in a situation that could have been prevented by the parent, the feelings of guilt must be tremendous. Every parent is taught to never, ever, leave a child unattended in a vehicle for a multitude of reasons. This story should serve as a warning to those who still insist on leaving their children alone in vehicles.
The mother doesn't deserve to be put through anymore turmoil by this situation, but it's because of this lapse in judgment that 18-month-old Kimberly Delgado could have suffered some kind of foul play at the hands of a criminal stranger. The suspect, Daniel Ozuna, is still at large with the kidnapped baby in his possession, but what he has done with her is anyone's guess.
