Back to the doctor for Christopher. I don't honestly know how much we'll find out today....but I know he has blood work they have to do. All this waiting is annoying me....and I hope Pher gets medical clearance for his surgery soon. Until then, I'm the taxi service for both kids.
So...what are we celebrating today....
1). Houseplant Appreciation Day: Today is THE day to get back to tending to, and loving your houseplants. And, it's also a day to appreciate just how special and important they are to you. I actually tend to kill houseplants, even the cacti....it's sad, but I have the black thumb.
2). Peculiar People Day: This holiday is in honor of uniquely different people :Â Â un-ordinary, extraordinary, unusual, strange, odd, uncommon, intriguing, different, abnormal, and quirky.... These are all things that we think of to describe the word "peculiar". I bet the majority of us Gatherites fall in to this category. LOL. I'm sure I do....so to celebrate, Kevin has a great prompt for us....
3). National Cut Your Energy Costs Day: This holiday is a day to educate people on the ways they can stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer while saving money on their energy bills. For tips to cut your costs go HERE.
4). Bittersweet Chocolate Day: Oh, I like chocolate...any kind. Scientific research to-date indicates that bittersweet chocolate is high in antioxidants, which have many beneficial effects. It’s a long way between this early research and recommended “dosage†levels, but experts agree that the benefits exist are at the 75%+ cacao level.
5). League of Nations Day:Â On January 10, 1920, the League of Nations formally comes into being when the Covenant of the League of Nations, ratified by 42 nations in 1919, takes effect. In 1946, the League of Nations was officially dissolved with the establishment of the United Nations.
I hope all is well with you.....I still can't shake this bug....but I am better.

My Houseplants are thriving very nicely, :)
I have not gone anywhere for 15 days. I hate to get the mail or the newspaper for fear of germs on it. ugh! But at least I'm not sick......yet.
Nope! I deal with enough plants outside, don't need any inside.
Have not got a clue about anyone like that. ;op
I had a bird yesterday when I got the electric bill!!! ugh!
That is too bitter for me. I'm a milky or semi sweety type.
Bunch of clowns!
