Does Anybody Hear Me? - Genre Shorties Prompt:...

Skylanders! Skylanders! Skylanders! How many times did I tell my mom and dad how much I wanted a New Blue TreeRex Skylander? Just about every time we have gone into Toys R Us or Walmarts. And Hotwheels, the collectors ones with the gold wheels. (Only my little sister keeps getting them off my shelf and playing with them, which I hate. I ALWAYS have to pick them up again!) So what did I get this year? School clothes! Oh, I did get a telescope from my Grandma. That was cool. Well, since my birthday is coming up, maybe they will listen to me this time!

105 words... tried to stay under 100, but with my grandson, EVERYTHING is a big deal and I wanted to capture his "voice" as accurately as possible.

Thank you, Tracy. I always end up somewhere around 100-115 words, then have to condense. I know that it is good practise for my writing, because it helps to clarify the topic/theme without loosing anything. Tightening it up so to speak....I do have a tendency to ramble....lol...in both my speech and writing.
