Spike, Rascal & The Cat Sitter Video

Not feeling the greatest today but had to share this with you. Have a cold and possibly getting a stomach bug. My immune system isn't handling kid germs at the daycare very well this winter.

I'd seen them advertised in different catalogs and sometimes ebay but never seen one in a pet supply store til last weekend. Spike & Rascal love it! Spike comes into the living room every morning now and starts chattering at the tv and Dad rolls his eyes and says don't they ever get tired of watching the same video? he still puts it in for them cause otherwise they attack everybody's feet and considering I run around the house in flip flops and Mom's only got slippers on and Dad has realized that their claws can get him through his sneakers he goes along with the cats the first time instead of waiting to see if they'll go away so he can watch something.
Came down with a stomach bug Wed eve, partly from sinus drainage from a cold irritating my stomach, partly from being around kids at the daycare that had had stomach bugs, still have a cold but at least over the stomach issues. My brother is supposed to fill in if an extra pair of hands is needed today, help wasn't needed yesterday so he got lucky. I had a battle with bronchitis all of December and was over it a very short time when I had to go back to work at the daycare because of too many babies for my boss to handle on her own, so naturally I get a cold in 2 days of being there around little kids with who knows what and so I'm still fighting the cold but I can handle that better than stomach bugs.
I'm feeling better though, thanks.

Bummer on the cold.

It's kind of a nuisance. If I wasn't working in a daycare I probably wouldn't get as many colds and other bugs as I do, hoping one of these days my job hunt pays off and gets me out of the daycare, I like the kids but I don't like having to go to the Dr. so often, can't afford it.

What's Twelve Thieves?

It's a product name. You can probably research it on the internet. I've never used it, but I was at a card party and someone joined us and proudly announced they had a cold. My friend squirted some on the hands of other (except for one) and they rubbed their hands together and then ran their hands over their face. The only one that caught the cold was the one that didn't try it.

I think to story goes that the 12 thieves were grave robbers and while hundreds of others were getting sick and dying, they never got sick. It was their formula. You might have fun researching it.

I have never heard of a movie like this but i can imagine it is fun to watch the cats enjoy it.
I hope you are better soon.. I have some kind of a crud and it just doesn't leave that quickly.

I'm doing better, we discovered part of my problem was I'd developed an allergy of sorts to the Vick's Vapor rub that I was using at night which made my symptoms linger rather than go away. It has eucalyptus in it which I didn't know, I am allergic to eucalyptus, mildly but since I was using something with it in it my symptoms just didn't go away.
Going to research and try and find the product that Pam mentioned above and see if I can find it. If so and it's affordable I'll be getting some.
