January 8, 2013. An independent voters column probably shouldn’t be telling the Republican Party how to run its club. But the panic-stricken GOP might want to take some advice. The Republican brand is dying and nothing short of reinvention can save it. As GOP leaders pointed out on a disappointing election night, America’s racial, religious and economic demographics have changed so much, the GOP now represents the minority. Wait…the minority. And the light bulb went on.
