I am so frustrated, so upset and really put out with the overall Swagbucks program. I've been a member for quite a long time and have never had any problems.....up until 4 or so months ago.
I guess my first mistake was to do online shopping through Swagbucks.......I placed a good size order with Drugstore.com......and was to have gotten 744 Swagbucks.....for the next 2 or 3 months, I argued back and forth with Support......I sent them the "confirmation e-mail" at least three different times.....yet, that was not enough.......I finally got mad and gave up.....and have been warning people NOT to do any online shopping through Swagbucks....there are many much better places (e.g. Go Save, MyPoints, etc.) to get shopping points.
But then, on December 20th, I decided to donate $25 to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, through Swagbucks (again, a wrong move!).......and "supposedly," I would get 1,500 Swagbucks.....it's been over two weeks and, of course, nothing. I sent them an e-mail and got the "same ole, same ole" story.......finally, I got a reply, but not to my liking, so I finally sent back another e-mail and said I was tired of getting "ripped off." They now owe me 2,300 Swagbucks.......will I ever get them? I'm sure NOT! I even went so far as telling them I'm thinking of contacting the Better Business Bureau.......and will probably end up quitting this one.
I just thought I should warn you all, as I know there are many who do Swagbucks......I don't want you getting ripped off as I've been.......and it will NOT happen again, as I've got Swagbucks at the bottom of my list. I guess the only "good" thing to come out of it is that I can use the St. Jude donation as a deduction on taxes!
Anyhow, have any of you out there been ripped off by Swagbucks? If you were me, how would you handle this situation?
