A UFO filmed over Calgary has been enhanced using GIMP Neon software. What is it?
The video, posted to YouTube, shows a mysterious unidentified flying object over what the witness says is Calgary. It doesn't resemble other objects filmed, having an unusual, non-aerodynamic shape and eerily just hangs suspended, nearly motionless in the twilight sky.
The user enhances the image with "GIMP Neon algorithm" software, allegedly revealing the camouflaged shape of the strange object. The results are striking and dramatic, but yield little in the way of actually identifying the anomaly.
Details posted on the video are light, so it's not known when the UFO was filmed or even what the witness believes the object could be. But the sighting is notable because of the unusual shape of the craft and its strange appearance.
The software enhancement shows a much more detailed object underneath, the purpose of which is not clear.
