Missing Arizona child Cole Evans was located Sunday afternoon after he had been missing for more than 24 hours. The anxious search for the child came to a fortunate end when he was safely returned to his family. It's amazing news to hear that the child had spent the night under an abandoned trailer after wandering away from his grandmother's home. Not every missing child's story ends on such a positive note, so it's probably safe to say his family members are thanking their lucky stars.

Cole vanished on Saturday morning after wandering away from his grandmother's home. It's not immediately known if the grandmother was in charge of watching the boy or not, but it's normal for kids to wander away when you blink and look away. This is especially true of special needs children like Cole, who is mildly autistic and doesn't like loud noises.
Cole Evans was very, very lucky for being found when he was. However, this scare served as a reminder to his family that he needs to be watched closely. Anything can happen out there and had he not been found today he might have frozen to death or even starved. There are also predators out there of both the animal and human kind and it is not safe for a 7-year-old to be out like that. This was all just a tragic incident and nobody is to blame, but hopefully in the future this doesn't happen again because a closer eye is being kept on Cole for his safety.
