Twisted Shorties II - heads up. We about to start another Gather authors' anthology.

Twisted Shorties II is soon to be open to Gather authors.

We have the same fantastic team. Our editors are Len Maxwell, John Beck and Greg Schiller. Anita will do the final formatting and publishing for us and James T. has agreed to do our book cover. I'll be the compiler and the contact.

For those unfamiliar with what we did last year, we published on Smashwords an anthology composed solely of Gather authors; some professionals and some never yet published. This book, Twisted Shorties can be found at Smashwords here, Barnes & Noble, here and a few other book stores. It's free and if you download it, you'll better understand what we're doing.

So, calling all Gather authors! Tell your friends, friends of friends and your groups. Twisted Shorties II is almost open for submissions. It is restricted to authors that are Gather members. There is no cost to you and we work hard (plus lose a certain amount of hair). The idea is simply to get your work out to the general public for their enjoyment. No one makes a penny off this book, but everyone is given the opportunity to receive public recognition.

Look for my next post (in about a week) at which time the rules, guidelines and agreement will be posted. Twisted Shorties II will be in the title and when it's posted, we will be open for your submissions.

Cool~am I right in thinking submissions don't need to have anything to do with the word "twisted?" That's what I thought with last year's edition, but noted some of the stories, etc. were not "twisted," by that I mean, in the scary genre.
