Okay, this sucks! I was feeling better and seemed to be getting better. Now I feel like I hit a brick wall....back to the fever, chills, etc. I am seriously wondering why my body can't fight this thing.
Christopher registered for classes last week only to have 2 of them dropped. He's not happy about it and has to start over on Tuesday. Most of what he wants is now full, which isn't good either, so I have no idea what he's going to do.
His doctor's appt. yesterday was a bust...the appt people messed up, so he has to go back again on Tuesday for a TB test and lab work. Getting him ready for surgery and stuff is such a mess!
So...what are we celebrating today....
1). National Bird Day: People love birds, and bird watching is a favorite pastime of millions of people. It comes as no surprise that there is more than one day established to recognize, appreciate, and enjoy birds....for example, Bird Day is May 4th. National Bird Day was established by bird activists. It calls upon people to recognize the plight of captive birds. It also draws attention to exploitation of birds in the U.S. pet industry.

2). National Bean Day: This holiday is celebrated both today and tomorrow, so why not celebrate both days. There are tons of different beans out there, so more than one day is a good thing. Some believe this holiday commemorates the death of renown geneticist, Gregor Mendel, who famously used bean and pea plants to test his theories on inheritance. Mendel died on Jan 6th in 1884, according to FoodReference.com.
Have a great Saturday.....there really isn't much going on today.....
