Jesus is not God and He never claimed to be God. Jesus spoke for God, relaying to us God's commandments. But to say that Jesus and God are one and the same is the most grievous error one can make. God sent Jesus to mankind to relay His will to us, just as did others before Him and still others afterward. This and other fantastic claims made by many Christians is the reason for much of the misunderstanding and animosity that exists in the world. There is truth and goodness in all of the divinely revealed religions. If only we could shed our prejudices and see it.

Of course he did, why do you think they condemned him to death?
And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
They knew he was "a teacher come from God", that was not at issue to them, as is made clear when one of them comes to Jesus shortly before that trial;
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
The supposed blasphemy was him saying they would see him "sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven". That did not fit with their concepts of what was possible, for that would mean Jesus was God in some sense, it seems rather clear to me. That did not conform to what those men thought of as possible, obviously.
This whole matter to me, is very simple. We have one point of view, one relatively continuous personal perspective (and can't handle that for crap ; ) and He has Three. And what is so unbelievable about the Creator of all that exists, being a more complex Entity than me? To paraphrase the Word, His Psychology is not our psychology, get over it ; )
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
(Isaiah 55:8~9)
Jesus is God.
Hey Thomas, is Jesus the Christ the only way to Heaven this day and time?
I have not found a new-ager yet that will answer the question, " is Jesus the Christ the only way to Heaven this day and time?".
Some of you will fess up to it and others don't.
I just wanted to make it clear so the others that are weak on understanding don't mistake you for a Christian.
Thanks Thomas.
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
"Is your 6th grade teacher the only way to an education? At one time, yes - while you are in the 6th grade. But other teachers follow who also contribute."
There have been plenty of people that claimed to be divine teachers/messengers of God since Bahá'u'lláh, so are you being stupid for continuing to ascribe to what that man taught? This "accept the latest person claiming to be a teacher/messenger of God" logic, is not logical to me, since there is nothing to stop people from claiming to be teachers/messengers of God, when they are no such thing.
To me, Bahá'u'lláh was just another man, claiming to be some sort of holy prophet, not God's "seventh grade" teacher. If you want others to accept him as something special, as you apparently do, I suggest you explain why anyone ought to think he was something special, 'cause the argument that he was born later than Jesus ain't a real convincing one . . It's kinda childish to me, frankly . .
