hey I am right there with emails I try to plug away every day. and to think we still have about 20 disks of information from when my computer crashed that we can not access.

haha, i'm trying to stick to it and get them cleared. I'm sure all the views will help everyone else out. We'll see how i feel about this a couple thousand in though...

LMBO....love it Ryan. I'm down to 70 messages or so....I've been cleaning up my gather email lately. Now I still have close to 300 in my regular email that I need to deal with.

i "subscribe" to my close friends here on gather. which is about 100 people. so i get an email for every post or photo or whatever they do.

and then for every comment on my stuff too...so they pile up pretty quick

I have no clue how many of the 177,000+ emails in my gmail are gather notices, but I reckon a whole lot of them. I am trying to work on deleting everything prior to Dec. 2012 and going from there, but it's not going fast.

How creative! Love it. I seem to be like that a lot. I always have a ton of email. If I get through 10% of it I am happy. Good luck getting through yours.

Pity you don't have a computer like mine - it just up and deleted all my email the other day including some I was saving for a specific purpose. Signed me out of everything too. I tried digging through the "trash" trying to find the really important ones but they are just gone.

Gather mail does drive me a bit crazy, I get the same thing from the same person x 50 I think so i just gave up on it.

I was having the same issue. But then, I changed it all. It took a day to do, but I am so glad I did it. I went to all my groups and unchecked wanting notifications from them. Then I went to each and every friend of mine and checked the email/notification settings that Yes, I wanted to have their pics and post sent to me as they upload them. Now, I only get my friend's stuff one time, not fifty.
