As most of you know, we will be spending the first part of 2013 taking care of Gretchen as she mends.
Rachael was called into pre-op as her little sister was nervous and started to cry. Big sister did an excellent job calming her down.
The tardis get well cake. I tried several shots. I even had Rachael move, kept getting the flash. I figured Rachael and Dad did so well, the doctor kept trying to get in his tardis.
Gretchen Christmas morning with new and old loot. She got new littlest pet shops and asked Dad to bring out her LPS box. No, Katryn, I did not kick her out of the wheelchair. The unknown feet you see are not evidence of the deed.
My baby on boxing day. She was already getting cabin fever and her Christmas money was burning a hole in her pocket. We wore her out shopping. She got some arts and crafts for bottle cap making and clothes we can fit over her foot.
Tomorrow is her first post-op X-ray and then Thursday we go to her two week check-up and her stitches will be removed. We will see when she can return to school. The 3rd quarter starts Monday the 7th. If we get her special needs paperwork filled out and filed, she may be able to go back before the end of the first week back. She is doing very well getting around the house. And she has weened down to only once a day on her medicine.
