Just a few photos from out 2012 Christmas.
Starting with our tree.

We started with a Christmas Eve snowball fight!

This year I let the kids decorate outside - there is another tree that's just out of view.

This is our cat Rosie checking out the events from one of her favorite spots. Some of you may remember her - she was one of the four kittens rescued from a barn. She was the only survivor.

This past year I've embraced minimalism, so it was no surprise I transferred this to our Christmas. Here is the humble haul our family unwrapped. In here is 5 gifts per kid, two per adult and one birthday gift for Daddy. (Gifts still under the tree are for other family members)

And they are off - we also did stockings but I did something I think is really cool I'll write an article on that later.

Next posing with the gift from Grandma.

Even with the reduced number of gifts, looks like they are still enjoying to me!

Then we moved on to Daddy's birthday - here daddy opens a gift and Patrick shows us his karate moves.

Daddy's cake!

One could say I do suffer:) at Christmas when I see it completely blown out of proportion with the gifting. I cringe by the time the third huge sack of presents is delivered to the same kid.
Five presents is a good choice in my opinion, not that my opinion matters in this:)
