While Social Security and other needed safety net programs are threatened, Congress gets a raise. Is this fair? Should voters decide when Congress gets a raise?

This abusive power of executive orders have got to STOP!
There is also the judicial branch which often refuses to get involved when it should. Maybe if we the the people push a little more, we can get the change that we need.
I have no stomach for it anymore, the administration deal or no deal is sending this country right over hte fiscal cliff with this tax and spend spend and tax.
Pushing this country into an economic crisis, or trying ot, worse than Greece.
Congress and the Supreme court need to use the checks and balances laid out by our founding fathers and yank some of hte power away form the TREASONOUS administration!
Time to impeach and remove if you want my honest not so humble opinion.
And if you want to know why I say that:
Fast and Furious Scandal.
Benghazi.
Both of those offenses and coverups should show what a treasonous administration we have and that they need to go. Plain and simple.....
My opinion. I have a right to it, even if you don't like it or don't agree. I will not change what I think and believe to suit someone else. And for the record I don't watch Fox. Nor do I listen to talks shows. So please don't even accuse me of that. I think for myself, and don't need to follow a party line.
I can agree to disagree with you, you think the adinistration should use more executive powers, fine. I hope you like socialism and dictatorship, because that is where the administration is heading this country: Welkome to the USSA.! The Soviet Amerika. NOT.
We, the people, should have a say if Congress gets a raise. How many people are going without raises this year, how many people are still without jobs, can't find work and have given up looking for work.....
The administration is doing its damndest to keep the U.S down in a depression, cooking numbers or omiting numbers to make themselves look like they are working for the people.
When you realize what has been done to this country, and where it is headed, if we aren't already there, it will be too late to change.
No it is not fair and they very well know it. They are taking from the poor and paying the rich giving themselves a pay raise.
I sure wish the American voters had the choice of giving them pay raises instead of themselves. I think they should not be allowed to give them pay raises ever. It makes me sick to my stomach that this country takes from the poor and gives to the rich.
If we had the option to vote on their compensation, the poor dears would still be receiving no more than what they earned in the 1700s. Not that this batch of individuals doesn't deserve to have their pay docked for non performance.
