Hell I don't even watch Fox News.
I have come back to gather because I have a little bit of time before the spring tournaments and once again I'm stereotyped into the 'yes person closed minded fox tv watchers'.
You know what I can't even tell you what channel Fox TV is here at home, I watch so little Network TV, if I watch anything maybe once in a while Sons of Guns, Pawn stars, mainly history Discovery or the learning channel. That's it......I don't watch Idol, DWTS, The Voice or anything else, heck I don't even watch food network anymore, TV has just lost its appeal, especially network programming, I feel that stations have lost touch with reality, they put their spin on it.
My husband watches Fox News, but as for me, I form my own opinions, I don't even listen to Beck, Limbaugh or any of the political radio talk shows.
So where does my thinking come from.?
My thinking comes from what I believe as a Christian, what I believe to be right and wrong, and from what I believe the constitution to say, and what I believe our founding fathers envisioned for this country, and how I see an administration give no regard to what those freedoms mean, from the right to free speech, to the freedom of religion and the right to bear arms.
Now I could argue the same thing about people who are left leaning, that they are yes men, puppets and robots of news outlets like the huffington post and that they are yes men/women to what the administration but I like to think, and I do hope that I am right, that people think for themselves, that they just don't go along with a person, or thought, or idea because they are told to, or because it is a party line, or because a news outlet tells them to think that way......
It just frustrates and upsets me to no end that I get categorized as a person who gets their information from something I don't even watch. I just wish people would realize that we, people, whether conservative or liberal, can think for ourselves...
I don't feel that I should have to justify to every one all the time that my beliefs and political thoughts are based on what I believe is right for me, what I believe morally and based on what I believe as a Christian, and that the only one that I have to answer to is God. Not a party, not a person, or not a news outlet...
Sorry for the rant...
but thanx for letting me vent.
