MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

Do you remember when the Beatles announced that they were more popular than Jesus Christ? It was true of course, at least for the moment. The world was outraged, for a time, then all was forgotten. And now it's Justin Bieber's turn. He is now the "fairest one of all". And on and on it goes. The mass of blind followers is endless. Will we ever get our priorities straight? The good news is, yes we will. When, you say? When we get tired of all this misplaced loyalty - when mankind reaches maturity. That day is coming soon. We're approaching the bottom right now. It'll take just a little more suffering - then we'll grow up.

I feel sorry watching those kids on American Idol. Their folks are so excited for them to win. I'm sick for them because I know they'll be in a life style that is rife with sin and will have no time to seek God. I would never want my child in those strong temptations. How frightening!

Glome, as a retired pro musician and sound tech for many years, I have to tell you that you are misinformed. Not all in the music business are "rife with sin". There are some very fine people in the business and most of those who are truly sinful are the executives running the corporations in charge.

I think the two sides feed off each other. These kids are looking for fame and fortune,and the powers -that-be are more than willing to provide that,as long as they make money.
