Honey Boo Boo Told to Gain Weight by Mama June Shannon

Little Honey Boo Boo—a.k.a. Alana Thompson—has reportedly been told to gain more weight, by her own mom. June Shannon is supposedly encouraging the child to put on even more pounds for the reality show cameras.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, little Alana's health is likely in danger since her mom is strongly promoting the family's unhealthy eating lifestyle in order to keep the fans watching their TV show.

"Alana lost some weight recently, and June totally freaked out — she's terrified the family will lose their show if Alana gets skinny," a source close to the family says.

At just 7 years old, this little girl has recently gone from 70 to 85 pounds as a result of foods like cheese balls for breakfast and tons of junk food the rest of the day. It's an atrocity that June Shannon—Alana's mother—fears losing her reality show so much that she's encouraging unhealthy eating habits on behalf of her little girl.
