'Terminator' Actor, Nick Stahl Gets Caught With Porn

How does one go from starring in a popular film to near obscurity and shame? That's exactly what happened to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines star, Nick Stahl. He recently got arrested inside a porn store.

Stahl's life has gone considerably down hill since his time as a sci-fi star. He often disappears off the grid for weeks at a time and he's often found hanging out somewhere decidedly "seedy". While an adult entertainment shop maybe not be considered a good place to hang out, Stahl's actually done worse from time to time. However, it still had to be embarrassing to get identified on site as a once upon a time member of the Hollywood crowd.

Still, more embarrassing is the fact that he apparently got caught responding sexually to the porn movie he was watching. That landed him a booking for lewd conduct. However, he was eventually released under his own recognizance. The actor continued to call the whole thing "a misunderstanding", during booking and afterward. However, most people might find it difficult to agree with his assessment given what he was engaged in at the time of his arrest. How can one "misunderstand" any sexual act, self-induced or otherwise.

It's been a tough year for Nick Stahl who has been in and out of rehab and disappeared on his family at least twice. Still, he managed to work a bit too, landing gigs on Showtime's House of Lies as well as ABC's Body of Proof. Here's hoping that next year contains more the latter and much less of the former. Here's also hoping it means less police time for the 39-year-old Terminator actor.
