 This past Sunday my sister, BIL, and new niece Amyra (she's 18 months) were here to celebrate Christmas a little early, so they went to church with us Sunday morning. We were all sitting together, and my dad was at the pulpit when he announced they were there with his newly adopted granddaughter. He told my BIL to stand up and my BIL turned with Amyra in his arms to face the congregation. They all started clapping. Amyra looked at everyone clapping, then she started clapping too! Everyone just started laughing. It was so cute and so funny.

Yes. My dad didn't know why the people had laughed until after the service. He hadn't seen her clapping since she was turned around. He thought it was hilarious.

Lilly is 19 months old now and when we laugh she laughs, she is trying to figure out when to and when not to laugh. children are the best
