Sean Lowe Opens Up About His Heartbreak Over Emily Maynard

Sean Lowe will be making his Bachelor debut next month on ABC, but before he does, he's looking back at the journey he went through to get there. Before getting to chose one luck lady out of 25, he was one of 25 men who vied for Emily Maynard's heart on The Bachelorette and it wasn't easy.

"She broke my heart," Sean tells Life & Style. "That was the first time I've ever really had my heart broken." While being sent home was hard, Sean admits that seeing Emily's connections with Jef and Arie "helped him get over [the heartbreak] a lot faster." It's always hard to get over a heartbreak, but Sean claims that he has moved on and is ready to find love for himself and he deserves it. Sean was a fan favorite during Emily's show and were sad to see him go, but are excited to watch him go on his own journey of love.

"I know love's out there for me," he says. While he, of course, has to stay mum on finding love, filming on the show ended last month, so he's either found love, or he has not, but fans will have to wait and see for themselves when Sean's season of The Bachelor begins on January 7.
