The Real Housewives stars have been known to make plenty of cast, but their exact salaries have been kept under wraps for the most part. There have been rumors that NeNe Leakes is the top earner, making $1 million per season, but that has been shut down. There has also been rumors that Vicki Gunvalson rakes in $600,000 per season, but that too seems to be fictional. So, what are they really making?
According to a new report by Star Magazine, the top earner of all of the franchises is actually Teresa Giudice who collects $600,000 per season. Just behind her in the salary race are Ramona Singer and LuAnn De Lesseps who make $500,000 per season—mostly because of the raise they were given after Alex McCord, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon were fired. How's that for freeing up some cash? Unfortunately, the girls getting a raise was the only good to come out of that situation as the ratings went down.
Vicki, who has been with Bravo for an impressive 8 seasons, makes $450,000 per season. One would think she'd be the highest earner since she's been with the franchise the longest, but apparently, the ratings have a lot to do with the paychecks and while Real Housewives of Orange County is doing well, it's no Real Housewives of New Jersey.
NeNe gets just $350,000 per season which is a bit surprising considering the Real Housewives of Atlanta is the highest rated of all the cities. However, between her guest role on Glee and her starring role on The New Normal, NeNe isn't in need of any extra cash.
